The short version
Showi turns a public website into a short promo video. You give us a link, we make the video, you keep it. Please only use Showi for sites you own or may promote. The details are below.
Who we are
Showi is operated by {{OWNER_LEGAL_NAME}}, {{OWNER_ADDRESS}}. You can reach us at {{OWNER_SUPPORT_EMAIL}}. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that operator.
Accepting these terms
By placing an order you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.
Who can use Showi
You must be at least 18, or be acting on behalf of an organisation that can enter into this agreement.
What you get
For each order we make one video of about 20 seconds in the format you pick (16:9, 9:16 or 1:1), a poster image and some share copy. We deliver them on a private order page. You do not need an account.
Most videos are ready 10 to 20 minutes after rendering starts. Orders may wait in line first, because we render one video at a time. We stop any attempt that runs longer than one hour.
The service is provided “as is”. We aim for a good result but cannot promise any particular outcome.
Price and payment
Paid orders cost the price shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record and is the seller for paid orders. Creem collects payment and any taxes, and its own terms apply to the checkout. Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
The website you submit
When you submit a link you confirm that:
- the site is public and does not require a login;
- you own it, or you have permission to promote it.
You allow us to visit the public pages of that site and capture what we need to make your video. Those pages may contain personal data about other people. You are responsible for submitting only sites you are entitled to use.
AI-made video
Your video is made by an AI agent that uses Anthropic’s Claude models through an API. AI can get details wrong, such as a feature, a name or a number. Please watch the video and check the share copy before you publish them.
We do not train models on your site or your video, and we do not use your video in our own marketing without your written consent. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, Anthropic does not train on data sent through its API. Showi is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.
Similar sites may produce similar videos.
Acceptable use
Do not use Showi for content or sites that are illegal, sexual, hateful, deceptive or harassing. Do not submit a site you have no right to promote. Do not try to attack, overload or bypass the service.
We may refuse or cancel an order that breaks these rules. If we cancel before a video exists, you get a full refund of any payment.
Third-party services
Showi relies on other providers, including Creem for payments, Anthropic for the AI model, Cloudflare for website hosting, our API connection and file storage, and {{OWNER_HOSTING_PROVIDER}} for the server that renders videos. Their services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
Ownership
You own the video, poster and share copy we make for you, and you may use them commercially. You keep all rights in your own site and its content. We keep our rights in the Showi service itself.
Your order link
Your order page lives at a private link. Anyone who has the link can view and download your video. Keep it private. We store only a hash of the link, so we cannot look it up for you if you lose it.
We delete the video, poster and share copy 14 days after delivery. This period follows the RETENTION_DAYS setting, and the Privacy Policy explains what we keep after that.
Refusals, failures and refunds
If we cannot produce a video, paid orders are refunded in full. The Refund Policy has the details.
No warranties
To the extent the law allows, we provide Showi without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free service.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order the claim relates to.
Indemnity
If you submit a site you have no right to use, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of {{OWNER_GOVERNING_LAW}}. Mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live are not affected.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest change. If you keep using Showi after a change, the new terms apply to later orders.
Other points
If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we publish a translation, the English version controls.
